A number of buildings were recorded at this site during an archaeological desktop survey for the Resolis Water Mains Renewal Project. Four roofed buildings are shown on the 1st edition OS map of 1880, but not on the 2nd edition of 1907. They are not marked on the 1992 OS map or the latest edition, and only two dark squares have been seen on one aerial photograph (of 1969).
