Wick, 12th April. `The LORD SUFFIELD, Carlill, from Hull to Quebec - the CAMPION, of Whitby, and the SARAH, Adamson, of Glasgow, ran on shore near Huna, on the SW of the Pentland Firth, 10th inst. The LORD SUFFIELD has become a complete wreck: the other vessel[s] got off.'

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), presumably on account of her successful recovery.
Huna is not noted as such on the 1999 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map, but the Ness of Huna is at ND 363 738.
