NH79SE 59 77407 93735
This site was recorded during archaeological fieldwork and a desktop survey ahead of a proposed water mains renewal programme in the area. What may be an unroofed building and an enclosure to the N are depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps (1870s and 1906). Nothing is depicted on the latest OS map. A visit to the site revealed a grass field, with a flat area on a ridge possibly the location. No trace of the building was seen.
