Full Description

NMRS Report: (05/09/2005)
NH77NE 42 7723 7916

This site was recorded during archaeological fieldwork and a desktop survey ahead of a proposed water mains renewal programme in the area. A roofed, rectangular building with a well are depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps (1870s and 1906), but are not present on the latest OS map. A walkover revealed no trace of a building, and the site is now part of a garden to the rear of a modern house.
