This farmstead site was recorded during archaeological fieldwork and a desktop survey ahead of a proposed water mains renewal programme in the area. A roofed U-shaped building with a garden enclosure is marked on the OS 1st edition map (1870s). The 2nd edition (1906) shows the range has been covered and the former garden is now marked as an enclosure. The latest OS map features a single roofed building, with the other 4 compartments being unroofed. A site visit revealed a ruinous U-shaped steading, with a house of lime-washed rubble masonry . The house is still roofed with slate but is starting to collapse. There is a possible bothy in the N corner. Probable barns to the N and W are all ruinous and roofless, although a well preserved arch in the stonework survives.
