NMRS Report: (05/09/2005)
NH77NE 44 7751 7892
This site was recorded during archaeological fieldwork and a desktop survey ahead of a proposed water mains renewal programme in the area. A corrugated iron and wooden building was noted during a walkover survey. It has a brick base and concrete and wooden floors. The interior has plasterboard walls and ceiling. It is divided into 4 rooms, possibly for accomodation. There are two chimneys. the site is currently in a dangerous condition. The building was possibly to accomodate farm workers or for shooting parties, as the site is not far away from moorland to the W.
