Full Description
NMRS Report: (26/09/2005)
NM56SW 30 5238 6297
A small structure, D-shaped in plan, was recorded here during a field survey of part of the Ardnamurchan Estate on the N shore of Loch Sunart, North Argyll. It measures 3.75m x 3.6m and has walls 0.9m wide by 0.6m high. A gap in the rubble walls in the NE corner appears to have been the entrance. it may have been a shelter of some sort or a shieling hut. The rudimentary nature of the walls makes dating it hard.
