NMRS Report: (26/09/2005)
NM56SW 37 5303 6237

A wall was recorded here during a field survey of part of the Ardnamurchan Estate on the N shore of Loch Sunart, North Argyll. It is built of roughly-coursed rubble stone and survives to 0.4m inheight and is 1.25m wide. It runs for several metres and runs past two shieling huts (NM56SW 35 and 36). The wall may have been used to prevent livestock from straying out of the sheltered gully it is located in.
