A number of shielings were recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. The first measures 5.2m x 2.6m internally and has stone and turf walling 0.7m thick. Close-by is another shieling, built into the corner of an enclosure wall and measuring 6.6m x 2.6m. An enclosure built nearby has 8-10 rigs clearly visable.
