NMRS Report: (22/11/2005)
NN58NE 24 5567 8880
The remains of three cairns were recorded here during a detailed archaeological survey of Strathmashie Community Forest near Laggan, Highland. The survey was carried out to assess the evidence for past human use and to ascertain whether there was enough archaeology to develop a heritage trail in the forest. The cairns are located on a gentle slope within light forest cover. They are around 3m in diameter and 0.5m in height and are composed of moss-covered boulders and cobbles.
