NN58NE 33 5672 8827
A drystone cairn was recorded during a detailed archaeological survey of Strathmashie Community Forest near Laggan, Highland. The cairn measures 0.5m x 0.5m at its base and is a metre high, but deteriorating. The survey was carried out to assess the evidence for past human use and to ascertain whether there was enough archaeology to develop a heritage trail in the forest.
