Full Description

A Hut circle at An Orthir.

A hut-circle, which is situated on a rise to the W of the field-system (NG77NE 2) measures 6.5m in diameter within grass- and heather-grown stony banks 1.5m in thickness and 0.5m in height. An entrance is marked by a dip in the bank on the E and there are some large boulders on the SW arc. Heaps of field clearance stones overlie the hut-circle.
