Full Description

There were apparently two predecessor bridges at or near this location. A grandiose inscription on the present bridge states that it replaced one built by Telford in 1833. This was not, however, a direct replacement; a two-span metal truss was recorded in the 1920's. <1>

For successor bridge (NH 80417 27741), see MHG15637.
