NG15SE 11 165 521

On the south-western slope of Beinn Ettow at a height of 140m OD is a group of 4 shielings arranged on each side of a small burn. The most easterly of the group may be a two-cell structure, it also had a latter twinning pen built within it.

NOTE: there is nothing answering the given description visible on vertical aerial photography within a 200m radius of the given grid reference (NG 165 521). However, some 250m to the northwest is a site which fits the description precisely. It is possible that the given grid reference contains an error and the records has been moved accordingly [IS-L 24/07/2026].
