Thurso. Bridge over River Thurso, 1800 (Caithness) Burn was architect and contractor

The location assigned to this record remains unverified. The bridge appraently carried the public road leading E from Thurso (ND16NW 65) over the River Thurso on the SE side of the town.
This is presumably the Thurso Bridge [NAT] that is noted at the same location as the present bridge on the 1st edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (GIS, ep. 1).
