Full Description

The substantial remains of a building were recorded here during a survey of the lands around Loch Torridon by the North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NOSAS). The building is located on a rocky outcrop, tucked under a cliff near the beach. The back wall of the structure is the cliff face. The remains stand to a maximum height of 1.6m and measures 3m square internally. The E wall has a doorway and the W wall has a window with a rusty iron frame still in place. <1>
