NJ01NW 29 NJ 03623 16563
At the W end of Loch an Spioraid there is a grass- and heather-grown earth dam measuring about 6m in breadth by 1m in height. It was probably constructed to form a large duck-shooting pond, the former, much fuller, extent of which is depicted on both the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet LX; 1902, sheet LX).
Visited by RCAHMS (JRS, PMcK) 23 August 2006.
