NJ01NW 30 NJ 02434 18336
This farmstead, which is situated in the uncultivated NW corner of an arable field 200m S of South Clachaig farmsteading, comprises two buildings, both reduced to the low stone footings and heavily overgrown on the date of visit. The first measures about 13.8m from NNW to SSE by 4.7m transversely overall, with an entrance on the E; the second (NJ 02409 18288) lies 40m to the SW and measures about 12.4m from NNW to SSE by 6.3m transversely overall. It, too, appears to have a single entrance in its E side.
Both buildings are depicted roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet LX; 1902, sheet LX); neither is shown on the 2nd edition of the map.
Visited by RCAHMS (JRS, PMcK) 23 August 2006.
