NLO: Cape Wrath [name: ND 256 750]
Pentland Firth [name centred ND 35 81].
Leith, 6th Mar. It is reported that a large ship is on shore near Cape Wrath, and it is supposed the whole crew have perished. Thirteen bodies said to have washed up: some bales of wool are also reported to have been cast ashore, from which it is supposed that the vessel was homeward bound from Australia.
