Wick, 8th Oct. The HENRY PORCHER, of Grangemouth, (late Simpson, who committed suicide on the voyage) from Quebec, was driven on shore on the rocks at Pennyland on the 7th Oct., has her main and mizenmasts cut away, & will become a total wreck: the cargo (timber) will be almost saved. The SAUCY JACK (sloop) of Thurso, with coals, was stranded on the Island below Scrabster House on the same day: it is doubtful whether she can be got off.
