Cape Wrath [name: NC 256 750].
Sandwood Bay, (about 7 miles W. of Cape Wrath), 21st Dec. The THREE BROTHERS (brig), of Ardrossan, Irvine, from Dalhousie, New Brunswick, to Chester, with deals and spars, is on shore in this bay, and likely to be come a total wreck: crew saved, and the greater part of the cargo expected to be saved. [Record received incomplete].
NMRS, MS/829/72 (no. 9596).
(Classified as brig: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 20 December 1858). Three Brothers: this vessel was lost at Sandwood Bay, Sutherland. {Prize: 1803].
Registration: Irvine. 138 tons burthern. Length: 22m. Beam: 4m.
