Wick [name: ND 362 508].

Wick, ---. The DAHINDA (schr.), from Newcastle, with coals, drifted through the Sound, near the Proudfoot rocks and grounded on the 28th Feb., she has since bilged, and will become a total wreck: crew saved.

Wick, 10th Mar. The DAHINDA, of this port, from Newcastle, which was stranded on the 28th Feb., at Proudfoot, has broken up: considerable portions of her hull, spars, &c., have been floated round to Broadhaven and been sold.

The Proudfoot Rocks are not noted as such on the 1998 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map. The name presumably applies to the extensive and prominent rocks around North Head (centred ND 383 507).
