NLO: Dunbeath Bay [name centred ND 166 293].
Wick, 18th Aug. A small sloop, with salt, went to pieces at the entrance of Dunbeath river.

NMRS, MS/829/72 (no. 9858).
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), possibly suggesting her successful recovery. The Dunbeath River enters the North Sea at ND 165 293.
