Thurso, 24th Dec. The ELFIN, Clacher, from Newcastle to Dublin, with coals, which came ashore here 20th Dec., has become a total wreck: the crew were saved.

Thurso, 24th Dec. The SUNDERLAND, Gjoruldsen, of and from Arendal, for Whitehaven, which was wrecked here on the 19th Dec., had been in contact on the previous day, in Scrabster Roads, with the ELFIN, Clacher, when two of the SUNDERLAND's crew got on board the latter vessel, and were unable to return. [Record received incomplete].
