This burnt mound is situated on a heather- and grass-grown boggy terrace 400m SW of Attinlea. Kidney-shaped on plan, the mound measures up to 4.2m across by 1m in height, and there is a hollow in the ESE side, which faces onto an active burn. The removal of a turf from the top of the mound revealed a core comprising angular fragments of burnt stone.
