NLO: Loch Eynort [name centred NG 36 24].

Greenock, 29th Oct. The ISLEMAN (s.s.) arrived here on the 27th with 11 of the crew of a ship belonging to Shields, which was wrecked in Loch Einort [Eynort], S. Uist, 23rd Oct.

Locheynort [Loch Eynort], South Uist, 22nd Oct. The LOWICK (barque), Corrigall, of and for Shields, from Londonderry, in ballast, drove on a rock here in a heavy gale 19th Oct., filled, and is now under water: crew saved.
