A linear crofting township depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet XLVI), comprising at least 23 crofts, ten of which include limekilns.
Visited by RCAHMS (AGCH) 25 August 2006.
This site was included in a desk-based assessment carried out in November 2007 in advance of water main renewal works. A site visit was recommended to establish whether any mitigation would be necessary, however the plans changed and the area was no longer affected. <1><2>
