Full Description
NG35SE 10 3975 5175
On the small peninsula at the head of Loch Treaslane (croft 83), at a height of 5m OD are the ruinous remains of a longhouse with attached byre. To the north is a small enclosure with a second byre to one corner. The house which is aligned NE to SW measures 14m by 5m over walls 1m thick. It has square corners. Attached to the SW end of the SE wall is a 5m square byre, it also has walls 1m thick. A small earth banked enclosure lies across a narrow lane immediately to the NW of the house. A second byre is attached to the outside of the SE corner of this enclsoure.
