NG 59861 37712 Field banks and Field (Feature 82). At this location a large stone and turf bank crosses the Fearns to Hallaig track. The bank reaches a height of 1.0m in places and is 0.80m wide on average with an erratic profile. North of it, is a large field enclosed by a low bank or revetted slope. Within the area there are a few remains of demarcation banks and the traces of a very old low bank.
Site identified during an archaeological survey of the townships of Hallaig and An Leac and the surrounding area.
