NG53NE 212 5908 3751
NG 5908 3751 Shieling (Feature 14). Tumbled remains of a 2-celled sheiling, 4.70m x 1.40m overall. Aligned northeast-southwest the larger cell lies at the southwest end and an entrance gives access to this cell. The smaller cell measures 1.20m x 1.20m. A second sheiling lies 15m to the west-southwest. This sheiling is of similar proportions but is in poorer condition.
Site identified during an archaeological survey of the townships of Hallaig and An Leac and the surrounding area.
