NG53NE 213 5969 3735
NG 5969 3735 Rock Shelter (Feature 15). Approximately 100m upslope of the Fearns-Hallaig track a slab of rock outcrop has been used as the backing of a rough shelter 4m long x 2m wide at maximum. The shelter walling is constructed of rough stone which is tumbled and grass and moss covered.
NG 5968 3743 Sheiling (Feature 16). High above the Fearns to Hallaig track are the ruined remains of a 2-celled shieling, 4.70m x 1.30m overall.
Sites identified during an archaeological survey of the townships of Hallaig and An Leac and the surrounding area.
