A WW II pillbox 2.5m by 2.5m. Upstanding to 1.5m (remainder buried beneath shingle). Rear blocked by tipped quarried stone acting as erosion control for road.
Interior half depth filled with shingle.
CFA/MORA Coastal Assessment Survey 1998.

The building was investigated in 2015 as part of the ARCH project 'Invergordon in World War I'. A square WWII pillbox is currently on the shore, not in its original position and buried in other rubble. <2>
