Full Description
Kinloch Hourn
Site identified during an archaeological survey of Loch Hourn by NOSAS in 2006.
Site 851. A quarry, angled at the centre where the quarried face rises to c 2m in height. To the south, the face rises to c 4m, falling away to 0.2m to the west. Two drill holes can be seen on the south face, one containing the rusting remains of a broken chisel bit. <1>
