Ballintomb Cottage was built in the early twentieth century as a summer house by a local farmer at the cost of approximately £425. Constructed of corrugated iron, it is thought that it was a bougyt as a kit house from the catalogue of William Cooper Ltd. of London. At the time of writing the property was for sale.
