A deposit of flint observed on the shore opposite Littleferry, possibly the result of a natural source being washed up on the beach.

A deposit of flint has been observed on the shore opposite Littleferry where it is embedded in the sandy bank and scattered amongst the pebbles. This, and the deposit to the north, may relate to a natural marine source of flint being washed up on the beach. <1>
