Full Description
A scramble, or emergency air raid shelter, one of a number located around the military camp. Designed for emergency use if a covered shelter could not be reached. It is designed to protect the occupants from blast and shrapnel. They are brick-built to a standard design and are common in such installations. This shelter is in good condition but with some vegetation growing in and around the structure <1>. Photographed <2>.
