Full Description
Purchased for the NMAS :- Bronze flat axe, 5 3/8" x 3 1/8", from Glen Drynoch, Skye.
Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1907.
(Flat axe of Migdale type). Single find. Flat axe, rough surface, green, signs of polishing; length 135mm, butt 27mm, cutting edge 77mm, weight 295 gms. NMAS (DA 73).
