Road constructed to link a slipway on the Kyle of Durness with the lighthouse at Cape Wrath (NC27SE 3) to ensure that personnel and goods could be transported to the latter when the slipway at Clais Charnach (NC27SE 4) could not be used. The road traverses four mapsheets and is decribed in the following documents: NC27SE41; NC36NW 18; NC36NE 101; NC37SW 26.
