Full Description
NG51NE 9 5546 1745.
NG 5546 1745 : 250m NE of Kilmarie House there is a circular enclosure measuring 11.7m in internal diameter with an entrance in the SE quadrant. The walls, 1.3m thick and 0.5, high are formed of a double row of boulders with the cavity filled with rubble.
The enclosure is situated on a gently sloping hillside in the vicinity of a few ruined houses and enclosures in association with old lazy-beds. It is of a type which occurs in various parts of Skye sometimes described by the RCAHM as a stone circle (NG51NE 2) and sometimes as a Hut Circle (NG62SW 5)
