Full Description

A rare variety of old Highland silver brooch was found by a shepherd of Ballachulish farm (Ballachulish House: NN 048 592), in 1881, within a few yards of the summit of Benvere. (Could this is Beinn a Bheithir - NN 04 55 ?). It was acquired by the NMAS in 1882. (Acc No NG71).
