Cromarty, 26th Oct. A Norwegian skiff, painted green, has been washed ashore here.

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative.
The discovery of this skiff is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), and its significance remains unclear. It may represent the loss of a larger vessel offshore, possibly beyond Scottish waters.
