This site was not recorded during the CFA Coastal Assessment Survey in 1998. Instead it was noted during aerial reconnaissance by Ian B M Ralston of Aberdeen Archaeological Surveys - as is shown on the two images which accompany the CANMORE record [IS-L 06/01/2014].
