Full Description
The standing buildings at Laig farmsteading were recorded by RCAHMS in 1998 and are depicted on the current edition of OS Mastermap. At the SE of the group within a walled enclosure an additional building (653) was discovered which presumably formed part of the steading. The building measures 18.2m from N to S by 4.9m over faced rubble walls robbed to such an extent that they only stand to 0.2m in height. The interior of the building is choked with rubble. To the E of the building there are 12 stack stands within the same enclosure.
