Full Description
Photographs of one of the barns to the south of Borlum House, plus a lean-to addition, were submitted to the HER to comply with a condition on planning consent for conversion of the lean-to to a shop. <1>
The farm buildings are focused along the western side of a square enclosure. The photograph of the original barn shows an impressive crow-stepped gable. Although a later addition, the lean-to still appears to be of some age. It may be depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1878 but this isn't entirely clear. <2>
