Full Description

Paul Swan identified a possible rectangular shieling hut orientated E-W. The outer dimensions are 3.35m by 2.25m with a wall thickness of 0.6m. There is a doorway roughly midway along the south wall. A twinning pen in the NW corner measures 1m by 1.5m. A possible turf walled structure continues the wall lines to the west. <1>
