Full Description

A section of turf and stone dyke, with a possible trackway running alongside, was noted following the contour above the wet ground at the head of Loch Uisg. These features eventually disappear into the wet ground. Presumably before the artificial raising of the water level of Loch Usige, this ground would have been better drained and actually corresponds to areas of rig cultivation marked on Roy's Military Survey. <1>
