Full Description

A walkover survey in September 2001 identified an irregularly shaped enclosure defined by low rubble walling enclosing an area of thick bracken which obscured any other features. This enclosure is marked on modern maps with its placename (Goirtean, a field of arable land, an enclosure). The feature would be unaffected by the proposed water pipeline. <1>
