Full Description

A walkover survey in 2009 noted a sub-circular scoop cut into gently sloping ground on the east side of Loch Shin, a short distance north-east of an overhead power line. It measures approximately 9m by 9m and 1.5m deep. The feature may be a borrow pit, perhaps associated with the construction of the forestry roads, but this has not been confirmed. <1>
