Full Description
To the west of the existing house lie the ruins of an earlier dwelling which is depicted as a roofed building on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1875. Photographs taken in 2009 to comply with a condition on planning consent show that part of the building was roofed in corrugated iron until relatively recently. The Ordnance Survey maps indicate that there was formerly an attached byre at the eastern end which was removed some time after 1900, presumably when the new house was built. <1>-<3>
