Full Description

An extensive field system with at least seven clearance cairns spread over area 150 m E/W x 70 m. All cairns are largely turf-covered. Measurements are:
a) 2.5 m diameter cairn
b) 2.9 m x 1.8 m cairn
c) Probable outcrop
d) 2.4 m diameter cairn
e) 4.2 m diameter cairn
f) 4.7 m x 2m cairn
g) 2 m diameter cairn .
h) c 2 m diameter cairn, 55 m along contour to NNE of sheepfold (site 40).

No field boundaries were noted.

At NC 3775 6702 is a grass mound located 18 m W along contour from sheepfold (site 40), measuring 3.6 m E/W x. 1.5 m Probably a turfed over clearance cairn associated with the field in valley below.
Base of small valley running E to Loch Borralie and W to central valley (zone B).
Overlooks Loch Borralie to E and Kyle of Durness to W.
Cairn field, possibly associated with hut circle and other cairns (site 37) on ridge to S.
